Snapper fishing in areas of light current require rigs that have little weight, this is where the Strayline Rig is very effective. This rig can be used with either circle hooks or suicide patterns with the snood knot being the easiest knot to tie the hooks. Always try to use a minimal amount of weight, to much lead may result in the fish dropping the bait.
