Sometimes two hooks are better than one!  This is one of my favourite rigs when lure fishing for fish that are a bit fussy and chase the lure, but don't eat it.  To turn followers into strikers simply remove the back treble hook from the lure, in this case the Rapala freshwater X-rap has a fly tied onto the back treble that can be used as a stinger.  Connect the fly treble using a short length of 10lb Black Magic fluorocarbon and tie it to the back anchor point of the lure.  Check it swims properly by making a few short casts.  When the fish are a bit fussy they are attracted to the lure and usually they'll eat the fly - a very versatile rig and a great way to present flies on light threadline tackle.
